What is Bolt Yoga?

What to expect from a Bolt Yoga class?

Yoga means “union”. In each class students are encouraged and uplifted through meditation and yoga postures to connect body, mind and spirit. You can also expect to find a robust, group of real people who are simply carving out self care time… just like you!

We look forward to sharing practice with you.  We will be practicing in person on Sundays at 9am, and Thursdays at 5pm at Stitch Your Legacy; 513 S Camp Meade Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090.

If you would like to be added to the contact list, or have questions email:  mary@bolt.yoga. Each class is $15, and please contact me if you are interested in a discounted class pack! They are sold as 5 packs and 10 packs.

If you do not see a class time that serves you, or would like to see another class offered, please contact Mary at mary@bolt.yoga. I am happy to see what I can do–you never know, you may be one of many emails asking for the same thing!!

Love and light(ning),

Mary

What is with the lighting bolts?

In May of 2021 Mary Manning was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. “TN” has a nickname in the medical world; the suicide disease. Mary calls it “face lighting”. TN is an extremely painful facial nerve disease which feels like lighting shocks in the face. 25% of those diagnosed will commit suicide within the first year of diagnosis due to the excruciating pain. So, re-framing face lighting, lighting bolts became a joyful reminder of how badass one can be. Then, in the summer of 2023, Mary had brain surgery for the possibility to cure the disease. Upon recovery the symptoms lessened and full recovery is expected. Now, she sees the lightning bolts as “vibrant”.

Mary Manning is a 500 hour registered yoga and meditation teacher. She is trauma informed trained in the yoga facets of Adaptive, Pre-natal, Restorative, Vinyasa, Yin, Meditation and Yoga Nidra.

The badass in me seeks to uplift and encourage the badass in you. Namaste.
